Surely you’ve heard that infamous song that’s been performed by a variety of artists… “Goin’ to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come…. They’ve got some crazy little women there, and I’m gonna get me one…” Well I’m one of those Crazy Little Women, who’s crazy about Kansas City and Kansas City Real Estate! My hometown, Kansas City, has been called many things…we are called The Heart of America because of our location. My favorite would be The City of Fountains and my least favorite would be Cowtown. Here's what Wikipedia has to say about Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City is called the City of Fountains because it is the home of more fountains than any city in the world, except Rome.
The majority of our famous fountains are found on the Country Club Plaza. The streets of that area decorated with artwork from around the world and the fountains there are the city’s most popular and decorative. For more information on the fountains visit this link http://www.experiencekc.com/fountains.html or this link http://www.360kc.com/Attractions/KansasCityFountains.html Kansas City is famous for many things… the favorites being BBQ, JAZZ and the Plaza Lighting Ceremony that happens every Thanksgiving evening when the Plaza area is lit with over 80 miles of holiday lights.
BBQ: As the link below describes, “When it comes to lip-smackin', finger-lickin', chin-dribblin', literally rib-stickin' barbecue, Kansas City holds its own. http://www.experiencekc.com/barbeque.html There are numerous wonderful bbq restaurants in Kansas City and one of the first place visitors go when they visit here! JAZZ: Kansas City is home to the American Jazz Museum, the premier jazz museum in the United States: http://www.americanjazzmuseum.org/?page=showcontent&content_id=14&action=display As Ken Burns describes Kansas City in his documentary, Jazz, A Film by Ken Burns: Kansas City, Missouri, was an economic oasis in the heart of the country, a mecca for migrants from the South and musicians in search of work. http://www.pbs.org/jazz/places/places_kansas_city.htm PLAZA LIGHTING CEREMONY: As this website describes: “The most magical time of the year, Holidays on the Plaza http://www.countryclubplaza.com/plaza.aspx?pgID=915 When the intricate Spanish style buildings are lit up with the glitter of 80 miles of eye candy. Kansas City is certainly a great place to experience…. Because of my community ties my buyers and sellers have come from all over the metro Kansas City Missouri area as well as Johnson County Kansas. Personally, I like that because then I am more aware of our entire Kansas City Real Estate market. Currently I'm specializing in my "home town" area of Kansas City.... Kansas City North! I've worked with many first time buyers who've enjoyed working with me because they felt as though they had someone on their side who would explain the process every step of the way.
My sellers love the internet marketing I do and my aggressive marketing style. 80% of the home buyers are window shopping online before buying. It saves time, money and it's smart so that is the core of my marketing program to help your home sell fast. Thanks for visiting my website, look around there is a wealth of information.... and don't forget to check out my blog regularly.
